Henry Terrell Terry Coghill

Henry Terrell "Terry" Coghill, 62, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013 surrounded by his family. He was born March 24, 1951 to Bailey Junior "BJ" Coghill, deceased and Betty Burnett Coghill of Buffalo Junction. Terry was a master carpenter and had assisted in building many homes in the area. He loved to garden and was a member of the Buggs Island Wildlife Club and was a former board member of the Black Water Archery Club. He was a member of Union Chapel Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 2pm Friday in the chapel at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home with the Reverend Jim McAlister officiating. Interment will follow in the Gravel Hill cemetery. In addition to his mother, Terry is survived by his daughters, Amy Lynn Coghill Humphries and her husband, Mike of Roxboro and Wendy Dawn Coghill of South Boston; granddaughter, Courtney Mae Humphries; brothers and sisters-in-law, Eddie B. and Sandra Coghill of Roxboro, John M. and Connie Coghill of Buffalo Junction, and J.B. deceased and Judy Coghill of Virgilina. Also surviving are his nieces and their husbands, Penny C. and Warren Cole and their children, James and Katie Cole; Kaylyn C. and Joe McKenna; and nephew, Justin Coghill. The family will receive friends 7-8:30 pm Thursday at Watkins Cooper Lyon.
