Adell Cox Pulliam

VIRGILINA Mrs. Adell Cox Pulliam passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at the age of 88.Born in Granville County, NC on November 22, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Freddy and Lena Cox and was married to the late Frank Eddie Pulliam. Adell was a homemaker and cherished each member of her family dearly, enjoying each moment spent with them. She is survived by children, Frank Wayne Pulliam (Linda Ann), Libby Miller (Larry), Ronnie Lee Pulliam, Barbara Ann Pulliam (Jerry), Freddie Michael Pulliam, Randy Lynn Pulliam (Lynn) and Teresa Faye Butz (Jackie); numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren & great great grandchildren; sister, Margaret Newton and a special friend, Hope Jones. In addition to her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Watkins Pulliam and a granddaughter Shannon Bagbey. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Union Christian Church with Reverend Norman Talley officiating. Interment will follow in Aarons Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 6-8 PM at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home and other times at the home, 1012 Carolina Avenue, Virgilina, VA.
