Mr. Albert Pinto of South Boston passed away on February 20, 2023 at the age of 80. He was born in New Jersey on March 14, 1942 to the late Antonio Pinto and the late Mary Silveira Pinto. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juaquina Felipe.

Albert was a self employed general contractor. He was very handy with wood and made wooden decor for his family members. He had a passion for old cars and trucks. He was proud of his '59 Chevy Apache step side pickup truck. He had a colorful personality and was a regular at Italian Delight. After finishing high school, he served for 8 years with the United States Army.

He is survived by his children, Jennifer Pinto McElroy (Ray) & Albert Joseph Pinto; grandchildren, Chasity Taylor, Ashley Meadows, Alexis Hendrickson, Larry Taylor, Jr, Sebastian Taylor, Audrianna Tyler, Trisha McElroy, Gordon Taylor, and Cheyenne McElroy; 10 great grandchildren; twin brother, Anthony Pinto; brother, Manuel Pinto and numerous nieces & nephews.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Dylan McElroy and a sister, Emily Pinto.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home Chapel.
