Albert Ralph Vaughan, Sr.

Mr. Albert Ralph Vaughan, Sr., 79, husband of Mary Yancey Vaughan, died Sunday, November 18, 2007 at his home. Al was born June 13, 1928 to the late William Patrick and Rebecca Elliott Vaughan. He was a member of Aarons Creek Baptist Church and was the owner of Vaughan Service Company. He was a member of the Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association and William M. Tuck Airport Association. In addition to his wife, Al is survived by sons, Ronnie Dale Vaughan and his wife, Janet of Alton; Darrell S. Suggs and his wife, Kim, of Raleigh, NC; and daughters, Mary V. Griffin of Virgilina; and Rebecca V. Harris and her husband, Dan of Eastville. Also surviving are brothers, Bobby Vaughan of Fredericksburg, Randy Vaughan of King George, Winn Vaughan of Lyons, Co., and Chester Vaughan of Seabrook, Tx; sister, Hilma Carter of Clarksville, 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son, Albert Ralph Vaughan, Jr. and daughter, Barbara L. Vaughan.
