Alberta Cavanaugh Puryear

BUFFALO JUNCTION Mrs. Alberta Cavanaugh Puryear, 91, died Friday, February 19, 2016. Alberta was born September 13, 1924. She retired from Burlington Industries and sang in the choir at Buffalo Baptist Church. Mrs. Puryear is survived by step-daughter and son-in-law Sandra and Gene Woodward of Waynesboro; step-sons and daughters-in-law Randy and Jane Puryear and Robert and Tracie Puryear all from Buffalo Junction; seven step-grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Alberta was predeceased by her husbands, Charlie Hutson and Earlie Louis Puryear; her sisters Isabel and Margaret; and brothers John, Tom and Joe. Graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 22, 2016 at Union Chapel Baptist Church, Clarksville with Reverend Wally Kelly officiating.
