Allen Dale Elliott

BULLOCK, NC Allen Dale Elliott, 50, husband of Barbara Ann Williams Elliott, passed away suddenly Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Granville Medical Center.Dale was born July 27, 1965 to the late Wayne Columbus Elliott and Eardean Stone Elliott in Halifax County, Va.He was a graduate of Bluestone High School, Class of 1983 and was employed in the Engineering Department of Granville Medical Center in Oxford.Dale was an avid race car mechanic in the Limited Late Model Class.He was known as a “jack of all trades." Dale was a member of Spring Valley United Methodist Church.Surviving In addition to his wife,are his son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Jessica Elliott and sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Jaye Newcomb, all of Clarksville; brother, Michael Elliott of Oxford, stepdaughter, Jessica Nelson of Bullock, NC; stepsons and daughters-in-law, Grant and Sabrina Altizer of Fort Benning, GA, Dannie and Joanna May of Cookeville, TN and Jeffrey and Raquel May of Oxford, NC; 7 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bobbie Lee Elliott.A funeral service will be conducted 2pm Sunday at Spring Valley United Methodist Church in Henderson.Officiatingwill be the Reverends Johnny Yount and Ray Pearce .Interment will follow at Meadowview Cemetery in Oxford.
