Allen Belt Loftis

SOUTH BOSTON Allen Belt Loftis, husband of Nancy Clark Loftis, passed away on Thursday, August, 8, 2019 at the age of 75.Born in Halifax County on December 3, 1943, he was the son of the late Andrew Belt Loftis and the late Virginia Solomon Loftis. Allen was a lifetime member of Cluster Springs Volunteer Fire Department, a member of Virginia National Guard and a member of Black Walnut Baptist Church.He was retired from ABB as a manufacturing associate. In addition to his wife, Nancy, he leaves behind to cherish his memories a daughter, Sherry Owen and husband, Kenneth of South Boston; grandchildren, Jessica O. Jones and husband, John of South Boston and Jennifer Owen of South Boston. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at Brooks Lyon Betty B. Jones Chapel with Reverend Dan Ward officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home from 7-8:30 PM and other times at the home of his daughter, Sherry and Kenneth Owen.
