Andrew Wayne Smith

Mr. Andrew Wayne Smith, age 20, died Friday, April 16 in South Boston. He was born October 18, 1989 in Halifax County, and was a cook at Dairy Dell. Mr. Smith is survived by his father; Travis Wayne Smith; his mother, Joyce "Jody" Henderson Smith; one sister, Ceciley Nicole Smith; his grandparents Monroe & Theresa Smith, and Sarah & Carl Newbill; one niece, Jaynie Lynn Newton, and one nephew, Colbie Braxton Newton. He was preceded in death by his Maternal grandparents, James Harold Henderson and Mammie Kate Henderson. Graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Halifax Memorial Gardens with Rev. Barbara L. Parker and Rev. Randy Holmes officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of Carl and Sarah Newbill, Hyco Rd., South Boston.
