Angela Shelton Mcgregor

Angela Faye Shelton McGregor of South Boston, VA, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 20, 2023, at the age of 77. Born in Basset, VA on May 9, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Faye Hanks Shelton and was married to Wallace McGregor, who survives. Angela was an artist and designed posters for J.P. Stevens as well as lending her talents to many other projects within the community. She was a woman of strong faith and a member at Centerville Baptist church.

In addition to her husband of 62 years, Angela is survived by her children, Michael McGregor and Don McGregor; grandchildren, Dustin McGregor, Matthew McGregor, Lauren Davis and Alyssa McGregor and her half brother, Ernie Shelton. She was preceded in death by a brother, Manuel Shelton.

The family will hold private services at a later date and is receiving friends at the home of Michael McGregor. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be considered to the Halifax County Cancer Association.
