Angeline Gavin Norman

Mrs. Angeline Gavin Norman, 96, widow of James Everett Norman, died Thursday, February 28, 2007 at Community Memorial Hospital in South Hill. The daughter of Jessie James Gavin and Bessie Doliene Riley Gavin, Angeline was born and reared in Paxton, Florida. She was a graduate of and received her BA from Judson College and did her graduate work at the University of Alabama. Formerly of Loudon, Tennessee, Mrs. Norman moved to Knoxville after retirement and then moved to Clarksville in 1995. Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday in the chapel at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home with graveside services and interment to follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, 2PM Wednesday. Surviving Mrs. Norman are her son, Hal G. Norman and his wife, Emily of Fairfax, VA; stepdaughters, Sarah Blackwell of Cashiers, NC and Mary Margaret Lupin of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and stepson, James Everett Norman, Jr. of Southport, NC.
