Ann Slagle Murray

Mrs. Ann Slagle Murray, 91, widow of John C. ?Champ? Murray, died Thursday, September 28, 2006 in Halifax Regional Hospital. The daughter of Lank and Rose Davis Slagle, Ann was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church and the R.E. Peele Sunday School Class. She worked at Burlington Industries, Lake Sleepwear, and Peebles Department Store, and after retiring, worked as a seamstress. Funeral services will be 2PM Sunday in the chapel at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home with the Reverend Dan Tilley officiating. Interment will follow in Buffalo Baptist Church Cemetery. Ann is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Locke Trigg of Glen Allen and grandchildren, Neil Dawkins Trigg and Anne Taylor Trigg. Also surviving are loving nieces, nephews, and neighbors.
