BUFFALO JUNCTION - Anna Elizabeth Comer Glasscock, 89, of Buffalo Junction, VA died January 5, 2021. She was born on September 10, 1931 in Halifax County the daughter of the late Walter Green Comer and Lonie B. Ford Comer. She was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Wallace Glasscock of the home; daughter, Sandra G. Callahan of Clarksville, VA; son, Timothy W. Glasscock of Buffalo Junction, VA; and grandchildren, Amy E. Callahan of Chase City, VA and Adam B. Callahan of Knightdale, NC. Also surviving is her sister, Helen C. Thacker of Halifax, VA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Raymond G. Comer, Andrew “Buck” Comer, James “Sam” Comer, Randolph L. Comer, Douglas A. Comer, Herbert “Tom” Comer, Hester G. Comer, and Freeman C. Comer, and a sister, Farris C. Hudson. Many thanks to her caregiver, Crystal Overby and the medical staff of Clarksville Clinic and Sentara Hospital for the loving care given to Anna during her later years. Also Dr. Reginald Young and staff for their years of care. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 2:00 PM in Oakhurst Cemetery with Reverend Doug Ballew officiating.
