South Boston, VA -Mrs. Anne Harris White of South Boston, VA died Friday, January 1, 2016.She was born in Halifax County, VA to the late Brace Thornton Harris and the late Lucy Waller Harris, and is survived by three siblings: Rupert Harris, Jereline Mitchell, and Maggie Connor. She was married to the late Saunders Aubrey “Buck” White, and was the mother of the late William Thomas White. Surviving Mrs. White is her only grandson, William Thomas White, Jr., Esq. and his fiancée, Dr. Chelsey Simmons, of Florida. Mrs. White was a member of Ash Avenue Baptist Church. Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Fort Hill Memorial Park in Lynchburg, VA. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Ash Avenue Baptist Church.
