Annette Barbara Milne Deramus

SOUTH BOSTON Annette Barbara Milnewas born in Southport, England, November 16, 1929 to Ada and George Milne.Her sister, Shirley, predeceased her.She fell in love with James David DeRamus of Billingsley, Alabama while he was stationed in England.They married and had four wonderful daughters, Susan Ficquette, Nicola Moshier, Jane DeRamus, and Philippa DeRamus (one of whom is writing this.)During 57 years of married life, they lived in England, Germany, Austria, Portugal, Michigan, Oklahoma, Florida, Alabama, and Virginia and had many adventures.In Florida, Ann played tennis and formed some strong friendships which continued until the end, along with some lifelong friendships in England. Ann loved red wine, rare roast beef, and the many friends she made in Halifax County.In her later years, Ann enjoyed traveling, knitting, her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and her daughters’ many pets.
