Annie Mae Morris Glasscock

Mrs. Annie Mae Morris Glasscock of 103 Rosehill Dr., South Boston, VA died on May 22, 2012 at the age of87. She was born in Halifax Co. VA on February 15, 1925 to the late John Henry Morris and the late Sarah Katherine O'Geary Morris and was married to the late Clarence Fletcher Glasscock. Mrs. Glasscock was a member of Union Christian Church in Virgilina, VA and a homemaker. Survivors include two sons, Clarence Jeffery Glasscock of Virgilina, VA and Ronald Wayne Glasscock and wife, Mary of Oxford, NC; one sister, Wilhelmina Shotwell of Oxford, NC; one brother, James Henry Morris of Roxboro, NC; three grandchildren, Ronald Wade Glasscock, Julie Marie Glasscock, and Alison Gail Glasscock; and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 25, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Brooks Funeral Home with the Rev. Norman Talley officiating. Burial will be in Virgilina Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Brooks Funeral Home on Thursday, May 24, 2012 from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM.
