Anthony Wayne Cash

Anthony Wayne Cash, Jr., passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020, at the age of 40. He was born on November 6, 1979 in Halifax County, VA to the late Anthony “Billy” Wayne Cash, Sr. and Jannie Cash Walker, who survives. Anthony worked as a lineman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting pool and music. He was a member of the South Boston Church of God. Anthony Cash is survived by his wife, Mary; his mother, Jannie Cash Walker; daughter, Katelin Cash; son, Tyler Roberts (Taylor); sister, Angela Womack; nephews, Cody Womack, Justin Womack, Damion Womack and a great nephew, River Womack. Additionally, he is survived by his paternal grandmother, Virginia Cash. He was preceded in death by his father, and his grandparents, Leonard and Molly Powell and Robert Cash. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 12 at 1:00PM in Clover Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 7 – 8:30 p.m. at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home and other times at his mother’s house, 3026 Harmony Rd., Alton, VA 24520.
