Anthony Robert Bobby Turner

Anthony Robert "Bobby" Turner, 58, passed away at his home on May 13, 2013. He was the son of Reverend Lewis Warren Turner and Wanda Sweeney Turner deceased. Bobby was born September 2, 1954 in Raleigh, NC and was a graduate of Bluestone High School. He was a member of and served as a Deacon at Ebenezer Baptist Church; a member of the Clarksville Gideons and was employed with NAPA Auto Parts/Clarksville Auto Supply and Machine Shop as a Machine Shop operator for 38 years. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home with the Reverend Dr. Stephen DeOrnellas officiating. Interment will follow at Oakhurst Cemetery. In addition to his father, Bobby is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Mittie Sue and Jeffrey King of Victoria; and brother and sister-in-law, Lewis W., Jr. and Mei-Yin Turner of Chapel Hill, NC. His niece, Melissa Quinn, and nephews, Timmy Overton, William Turner, Thomas Turner, Joseph Turner and James Turner also survive. The family will receive friends just prior to the service, starting at 10 AM at the funeral home.
