Anton Ralph Schwarz

A. Ralph Schwarz, 97, of Deerfield Beach Florida died on Sunday January 26, 2014 at Hospice by the Sea. Ralph was the widower of Mariette Schwarz. He is survived by his wife Susan Young Schwarz, her son Josh Young, his wife Jamie and their two children, and Ralph's son Alain Schwarz, his wife Teresa, their six children and eight grandchildren, Mr. Schwarz was born in Vienna, Austria on January 2, 1917. He emigrated to Colombia during the war, and in 1968 immigrated to the USA where he settled in Clarksville with his family. Mr. Schwarz retired from Burlington Industries in 1982. There will be a memorial service at St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Naugatuck CT on February 9, 2014 at 12:00 noon, and an internment service in Halifax, VA at a later date. Arrangements for the internment are being made by Watkins Cooper-Lyons Funeral Home in Clarksville, VA.
