Arlene Nichols Hudson

Arlene Nichols Hudson of South Boston passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at the age of 91.  Born in Halifax County on February 9, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Blanche Oakley Nichols.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Paige Hudson.

Arlene was a member of Grace Baptist Church.  She loved yard sales and antiques, having spent many years with her husband buying and selling antiques.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Paige Douglas "Doug" Hudson, Sr and wife, Margie; grandson, Paige Douglas "P.D." Hudson, Jr and wife Dodie; granddaughter, Candiss McBride and husband, Scott; grandchildren, Hamden Hudson, Kelsten Hudson, Keylen Hudson, Kinlee McBride, and Kindall "Sissy" McBride.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie G. Hudson and her siblings.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, March 3, 2025 at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jack Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Buffalo Baptist Tabernacle Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Monday one hour prior to the service, 10 A.M. until 11 A.M. at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home.
