Arthur Henry Edwardson

Arthur Henry Edwardson, 88, loving husband of his late wife, Claire Evelyn von Hassel, passed away on Friday, May 16, 2014 at Meadowview Terrace. Arthur was born July 4, 1925 in South Hempstead, NY to the late Frances Anderson and Arthur Edwardson. Prior to moving to Clarksville in 1995, he had lived with his wife in Emerald Isle, NC, Durham, NC, and Massapequa Park, NY. Arthur was a vice president with Golden Belt Manufacturing and previously with American Tobacco Company. Mr. Edwardson is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Johnson of Raleigh, NC and sons, Richard Arthur Edwardson of Gastonia, NC and Eric William Edwardson of Libby, MT, nine grandchildren, and two great-grandsons. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 19 at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church with the Reverend Susan Grimm officiating.
