Arthur Langhorne Herborn

Clarksville, VA - Arthur L. Herborn, beloved husband of Loretta F. Herborn, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the age of 87.He was born in Levana, NY on October 24, 1929 to the late Marjorie Drummond and Henry James Herborn, Sr.Mr. Herborn was a United States Air Force veteran and had served during the Korean War.He moved to Clarksville in 2005, after retiring from U.S. Army, Fort Monmouth, NJ, where he had worked in communications for 44 years.Arthur was a member of Clarksville Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, Mr. Herborn is survived by his son, Steven Herborn of Chesapeake, VA; two daughters, Linda Humphris of Hebron, IN and Sherrie Smith of Clarksville, VA; sister, Noni Ehrola of Pt. Pleasant, NJ; grandchildren, Rory Dobis, Kimberly Herborn, Steven Humphris, Shawn Dobis, Edward Humphris, Sabrina Herborn and Keith Dobis and a great grandson, Ryan Dobis. A memorial service for Mr. Herborn will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Clarksville Baptist Church.The Reverend Dr. Gregory Randall will officiate.
