Aubrey Lewis Guill

Mr. Aubrey Lewis Guill, Sr. of 1015 Elm Court, South Boston, VA went home to be with the Lord on May 18, 2012 at the age of 77. He was born in Halifax Co., VA on August 17, 1934 to the late Albert Guill and the late Lula Hodges Guill and was married to Maggie Conner Guill. Mr. Guill was a retired foreman for J.E. Burton Construction and a member of Revelation Baptist Church. He also enjoyed traveling and fishing. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Maggie Conner Guill of South Boston; three sons, Aubrey Guill, Jr. & his wife, Neva of South Boston, Randy Guill & his wife, Joyce of South Boston, and Kenneth Guill & his wife, Janice of Sutherlin, VA; one sister, Doris Fox of Roxboro, NC; 5 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Brooks Funeral Home with the Rev. Robin Dunn and Rev. Jack Stewart officating. Burial will be in Halifax Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Brooks Funeral Home on Saturday, May 19, 2012 from 7:00 until 8:30 PM and at other times at the home.
