Audrey Caudle Woodell

CLARKSVILLE, VA. Mrs. Audrey Caudle Woodell, 89, widow of Norris Franklin “Mike” Woodell, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 2, 2015 at MeadowView Terrace.Audrey was born January 18, 1925 in Mecklenburg County, Va. to the late Thomas Lewis and Sarah Cornelia Owen Caudle.A graduate of Townsville High School with the Class of 1941, she also attended Louisburg College for one year.She moved to Sanford in 1941 and married Mike Woodell in 1948.Audrey was a member of Cool Springs Baptist Church prior to moving her membership to Averette Baptist Church.She was retired from Mid-Carolina Radiology.Graveside service will be held at 2pm on Monday at the Jonesboro Cemetery in Sanford, NC with the Reverend Dr. Stephen DeOrnellas officiating.Mrs. Woodell is survived by her nieces, Diane Yancey, Judy Smith, and Cornelia Garrison, and nephew, Gene Greene.She was preceded in death by her sisters, Nell C. Wilson and Ruby C.
