Barbara Moore Day

BUFFALO JUNCTION - Mrs. Barbara Moore Day of Buffalo Junction died Sunday, July 3, 2016 at the age of 77. She was born in Halifax Co., VA on May 19, 1939 to the late Ernest Wilford Moore and the late Myrtle Ferrell Moore and was married to the late Mason Crum Day, Sr.. Barbara was a member of First Baptist Church and was a 1958 graduate of Halifax High School. Mrs. Day is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Allen of Coventry, England and Stephanie Bailey of Disputanta, VA; sons, Forrest Wilbourne of Buffalo Junction, VA and Charles Wilbourne of Chesterfield, VA; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and one son, John Riley Wilbourne. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 8, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Brooks Lyon Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Jack Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home on Thursday, July 7 from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM.
