Barbara Ellen King

Ms. Barbara Ellen King of 1140 Paradise Road, Alton, VA died Friday, October 29, 2010 at the age of 48. She was born in Halifax County on November 2, 1961 to the late Keister Hodges King and the late Gladys Barfield King. Survivors include three sisters: Elizabeth Stamper and her husband Wilson of Charleston, SC, Becky Throckmorton and her husband Bonnie of Alton, VA, Bee Puryear and her husband Rennis of Roxboro, NC; a brother: James King and his wife Watt of Ft. Pierce, FL., and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, October 31, 2010 at 1 PM in Virgilina Cemetery, Virgilina, VA, with Rev. Carl Hudson officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of Bonnie and Becky Throckmorton, 1140 Paradise Road, Alton, VA.
