Barbara Conner Newcomb

CLOVER Mrs. Barbara Conner Newcomb of Clover, VA went to her Heavenly home on September 14, 2020 at the age of 74. She was born on October 28, 1945 to the late Frank G. Conner and the late Hannah Clay Conner Hudson and was the widow of Glenn N. Newcomb. Barbara was a member of Clover Church of God of Prophecy. She loved God, her church and family. Attending yard sales was a favorite of hers. Leaving behind to cherish her memories are her children, Timothy G. Newcomb, Angie N. Lankford and husband, Mark, and Ray M. Newcomb, all of Clover, VA; grandchildren, Heather Dawn Lankford, Chad Andrew Lankford, Megan Nicole Newcomb and Asa Gabriel Newcomb; great granddaughter, Saylor Jayde Nichols; sister, Wanda Lacks; brothers, Monroe Hudson, Mickey Conner and Ricky Conner; and devoted friend, Steve Seamster. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Lee Conner, Danny Hudson and Robert Hudson. A Funeral service will be held at Clover Church of God of Prophecy on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 2:00 PM with Reverend David Smith and Reverend Barbara Gravely officiating. Interment will follow in Clover Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 18, 2020 from 6:00 PM until 8:00PM at Clover Church of God of Prophecy.
