Barbara Throckmorton Watkins

SOUTH BOSTON Barbara Throckmorton Watkins passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022 at the age of 70. She was born in Clover on May 7, 1951 to the late James Thomas Throckmorton and Catherine Angle Throckmorton. Barbara loved music, especially the 60's music, and loved to dance. She also enjoyed puzzles and card games. But most importantly, she loved visiting and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by daughters, Wendy Watkins Sayers and husband, Brian, and Cynthia Watkins Wilkinson; grandchildren, Corey James Petersen, Pavlina Joan Feichtinger and Kayla Wren Hollingsworth; great grandchildren, Lillian Murphy, Athena Petersen, September Petersen and Vivian Petersen; siblings, Faye Throckmorton Wilkinson, James Throckmorton, Bill Throckmorton, Rhonda Throckmorton Gainey, Nancy Throckmorton Moser, and Donna Lawson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by siblings, Joan Throckmorton Poole and Marvin Throckmorton. A Celebration of Lifewill be held at 1 PM on Friday, April 22, 2022 at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home Chapel.
