Barbara Clay Talley Whitt

Mrs. Barbara Clay Talley Whitt of 750 North Main Street, Roxboro, NC died Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at the age of 80. She was born December 25, 1931 to the late Noell Duncan Clay and the late Virginia Bass Clay and was married to Douglas Young Whitt. She was a retired employee of Burlington Industries in Oxford, NC. Survivors include her husband; Douglas Young Whitt of Roxboro; sons; Thomas Wilborn Talley of Charlottesville, VA, Gary Brann Talley of Roxboro, NC and Tony Scott Talley of Southern Pines, NC; brother; Leroy Paul Clay of Halifax, VA; sisters, Virginia Christine Comer of Halifax, VA and Rose Marie Curry of Halifax,VA; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Noell Duncan Clay and Virginia Bass Clay. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
