Beatrice “Bea” LeBlanc Persuitte of Boydton, VA passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020, at the age of 83. She was born on January 11, 1937, to the late Ernest and Katherine Thomas LeBlanc. Bea was a 1955 graduate of St. Bernard’s Catholic High School in Fitchburg, MA. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, crochet and knitting, and loved her family greatly. Beatrice is survived by her children, David Persuitte (Laurie) of Leominster, MA, Loriann Haney (Ken) of Chase City, VA, Sandi Newcomb (Leroy) of Chase City, VA, William Persuitte of Terrell, TX, Cathi Glover of Asheville, NC, and Karen Garnett (Charles - deceased) of Boydton, VA; grandchildren, Dave Persuitte, Dan Persuitte (Nahir), and Lauren Persuitte, Lynden Laundry (Eric), Angela Haney, Jessica Haney, Amanda Lewis, Stephanie Newcomb, Rebecca Persuitte, Brian Glover (Meagan), Michael Glover, and Ethan Garnett as well as 18 great-grandchildren. She was also survived by her godsons, Larry Rouleau and Mark Gagne; goddaughter, Lisa Gagne and brothers-in-law, Ron Gagne and Al Rouleau, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Lorena Rouleau, Marilyn Creasy, Norma Gagne; brother, Lawrence LeBlanc. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
