Ben Sterling Coghill, 68, son of the late Bailey Flournoy and Pearl Matthews Coghill died Saturday at his residence. Ben was native to Buffalo Junction and in his early adult life attended Buffalo Baptist Tabernacle. He retired from Key Construction Company. His appreciation for life was expressed in a love for hunting, fishing, reading, and he was never without a dancing partner. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday at 11 AM in the Watkins Cooper Lyon Chapel officiated by the Rev. Billy Coghill. Surviving Mr. Coghill is his daughter Tanya C. Jones of Clarksville; sisters Julia Seay of Buffalo Junction, Barbara Beck of Danville and Frances Glasscock of Clarksville; a brother Rev. Billy Coghill; a granddaughter Hite Newton Jones of Clarksville. In addition to his parents, Ben was pre-deceased by a sister Thelma Tillotson; brothers B.J., Tommy Winn, Garland and Rev. Victor Coghill. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday night 7 until 8 PM.
