Ben Lewis Hite

Mr. Ben Lewis Hite of 1138 Hites Mill Rd., Virgilina died Thursday, March 31, 2011 at the age of 87. The son of the late Johnnie and Lubie Griffin Hite he was born in Richmond, VA on November 26, 1923. Mr. Hite was a construction worker. Survivors include special friends, Ronnie Overby of Halifax, Lynn Overby, Rosa Shepperd, and Don Loftis, all of Hitesburg; and a multitude of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and an aunt, Sadie Hite. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2011 at 4:00 PM in Hitesburg Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Mike Riley officiating. Visitation will be held at Brooks Funeral Home on Saturday, April 2, 2011 from 7 PM until 8:30 PM.
