Bernice Fletcher Link

Mr. Bernice Fletcher Link of 2079 Link-Puryear Rd., South Boston died Thursday, September 23, 2010 at the age of 66. He was born in Halifax County on October 4, 1943 to the late William Henry Link, Sr. and the late Elizabeth Rogers Link and was married to Linda Long Link. Mr. Link was retired from O'Sullivan Industries and was a member of Centerville Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Paul Link and his wife, Valerie of Alton and Clifton Link and his wife, Lisa of Hudson, NY; a daughter, Christina Lewis and her husband, E.W. of Clover; three brothers, Emmitt Link of Alton, Bruce Link and his wife, Margaret and Ernest Link and his wife, Margaret both of South Boston; a sister, Violet Deal and her husband, Jay of South Boston; one sister-in-law, Jane H. link; and eight grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, William Henry "Bill" Link, Jr. and a sister-in-law, Carolyn Link. The family received friends at Centerville Baptist Church on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 from 7 until 8:30 PM. A service was held at 8:30 PM following the visitation. A graveside service for Mr. Link will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Todd McClure officiating.
