Berry "Birdie" Wayne Arrington

Mr. Berry "Birdie" Wayne Arrington of 846 White House Rd., Nelson, VA died Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at the age of 65. He was born in Mecklenburg Co., VA on August 31, 1947 to the late Bossie Blanford Arrington and the late Mildred Burnett Arrington. He was retired from Collins & Aikman and was a member of Averett Baptist Church. Mr. Arrington was an avid piano player and an avid hunter. Survivors include four brothers, Jerry Arrington and wife, Jackie of Nelson, VA, Francis Arrington and wife, Nellie of Nelson, VA, William Arrington of Felton, DE, and Harold Arrington of Sheridan, MI; and one sister, Wanda Martin and husband, Perry of Alachua, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, James D. Arrington and Leon Arrington, and one sister, Glennis Arrington. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Gravel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Norman Talley and Rev. Sidney Rodriguez officiating.
