Bethany Talbott Jenkins

Bethany Talbott Jenkins passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at the age of 47.  She was born on March 21, 1976 to Jerald Edward Talbott and Wanda Talley Talbott.  She was married to Joe L. “Joey” Jenkins III who survives.

One thing Bethany enjoyed most was nature.  Butterflies, lady bugs, and listening to a nice rainstorm were some of her favorite things.  She also enjoyed spending time with family; especially traveling with her mother and sisters and planning activities for her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.  She was thoughtful, selfless, and generous and she will be greatly missed by everyone.

In addition to her husband, Joey, and her parents, Bethany is survived by her son, Tyler Tharpe; daughter, Bethany Ann Payton; grandchildren: Aiden, Riley, Luke, and Jax; siblings: Emerson Pambid, Joseph and Chastity Simmons-Talbott, Jamie and Jennifer Talbott, and Jessica and Matt Young; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 18th at 2:00 PM at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home with the Reverend Randy Holmes officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM.
