Betty Wilkinson Davis

Davis, Betty Anne Wilkinson, 77, daughter of the late William J. Wilkinson and Hazel McCormick Wilkinson, departed this life on Thursday, December 27, 2007. She attended James Monroe High School in Fredericksburg and earned her Bachelor?s and Master?s degrees from Mary Washington College and the College of William and Mary, respectively. She is survived by three children and their spouses, Betty Stewart Davis Anderson and husband Walter of Birmingham, Alabama, Ann-Lee Davis and husband Charles Martin of Richmond and E. Biery Davis, Jr. and wife Virginia of Barboursville, three grandchildren, E. Devon Jones and Elizabeth Jones of Richmond, and Marcelia R. H. Davis of Charlottesville. She is also survived by her younger brother, William A. Wilkinson and wife Carol of Shiloh, Illinois and her friend and ex-husband Everett B. Davis. Betty was a well loved and respected math and computer assisted studies teacher at Hermitage High School for 32 years, retiring in June, 1994. Funeral services will be held at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home on Monday December 31, 2007 at 11 am with interment following at Oakhurst Cemetary in Clarksville, Virginia. The family will receive visitors from 3 ? 5 pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
