Billy Lee Hubbard

Billy Lee Hubbard of Red Oak, VA, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at the age of 85. Born in Yanceyville, NC, on March 31, 1938, he was the son of the late Charles and Ada Wilson Hubbard and was married to Diane Thomas Hubbard, who survives. Billy was a retired truckdriver. He enjoyed gardening, especially raising his prize tomatoes, and cutting grass. He also liked to go fishing whenever he was able.

In addition to his wife, Billy is survived by his children, Kenneth Hubbard (Wanda) of Scottsburg, Jason Hubbard (Sherri) of Kernersville, NC, Danny Hargis of Greenville, NC, Kimberly Scott, and Karen Wylie (Robert) all of Marion, NC; step-son, Robbie Jones of Prince George; sisters, June Lindsey of Chesterfield and Katherine Gilbert of Dunn, NC; 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a step grandchild. He was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Owen.

The family will hold a private service.
