Blanche Fuller Enderle

Clarksville, Virginia Mrs. Blanche Thomas Fuller Enderle, 94, former wife of late James Victor Fuller and widow of Horace Enderle, died Easter Sunday Morning in South Boston. Blanche was the retired manager of Rose's Dept. Stores, Inc. She worked for Rose's 32 years. From 1936 until 1939, she worked part time for Peebles Dept. Stores. Mrs. Enderle worked for her first husband's family at Clarksville Cleaners from 1940 until 1946. She was a member of Clarksville Baptist Church where she served in various capacities. Some of which included the choir, Leader of the Sunbeams, G.A.s now Mission Friends and Acteens, past President of the Women' s Missionary Union. She also had over 2500 hours as a volunteer at Halifax Regional Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Enderle will be Tuesday at 2:00 PM in the Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. Jane Lyon. Burial will be private at Oakhurst Cemetery. Mrs. Enderle is survived by daughters Margaret Ann Bruce Ross of Burlington, NC and Janet Bill Bancalari of Murrels Inlet, SC; step-sons Horace Enderle, Jr. of Finlay, OH, Ray Enderle of Winterhaven, FL, Louis Enderle of Kokomo, IN, Father Gilbert Enderle of Rome, Italy, Alan Enderle of Kalamazoo, MI; step-daughter Mary Hockstein of Mount Laurez, NJ; granddaughters Jill Carter of Scottsdale, AZ and Janna Carter of Virginia Beach, VA; sisters Ida Poole of South Hill and Audrey Young of MD. She was predeceased by her brothers Robert Thomas and Wallace Thomas. The family will receive friends immediately following the funeral.
