Blanche Wilson Francisco

Blanche Rebecca " Becky" Wilson Francisco of Nathalie passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at the age of 81.  Born in Halifax County on July 17, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Lou Wilson and the late Ruby Bray Wilson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Wayne Francisco.

Becky loved crocheting, puzzle books and spoiling the children.  When she was able she enjoyed canning and making pickles.  Her working career included Russel Stover Candy, Craddock Terry Shoe Factory, CNA in nursing. She was a long time member of Hunting Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include a sister, Fannie Tuck; special nieces, Taylor Crews and Madison Barnes; brother in law, Michael Elliott and several nieces, nephews & other family members.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Pete Wilson and a sister, Joanne Elliott.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 19, 2023 at Hunting Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Norman Talley and Reverend Herbert Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 18 from 6:30 PM until 8:00 PM at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home.
