Bonnie Ray Duffey

Bonnie Sue Ray Duffey of South Boston passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at the age of 67.  Born in Roxboro, NC on February 11, 1957, she was the daughter of the late James Ray and Nina Holt.  She is survived by her husband, William Ray Duffey.

Bonnie was previously employed with Burlington Industries.  She loved animals, especially dogs & cats. She always loved relaxing on the beach, soaking up the sun.  She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother & Nana.

She is survived by her husband, William Ray Duffey; children, Tasha Barton, Misty Duffey, Brooke Duffey and Cody Duffey; grandchildren, Chase Barton, Gavin Jordan, Aiden Jordan, Donaven Pumphrey, Trevor Pumphrey, Taylor Pumphrey, Chance & Justus Leigh and her special dogs, Gabby & Tucker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Ray & Nina Holt; grandmother, Josephine Holt and her beloved dog, Bear.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, May 24, 2024 at South Boston Church of God. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, 5 PM - 6 PM at the church and also at the home on Sunday, May 19th.
