Brandie Dawn Ferrell

Buffalo Junction, VA - Brandie Dawn Ferrell, daughter of Mary Catherine “Cathy” and Wallace R. Bowen, Jr., passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at the age of 38. Brandie was a people person and always had a compliment to give. She read books every day. She loved life, animals, God and her church, Buffalo Baptist. In addition to her parents, Brandie is survived by her sisters, Melissa K. Hightower (Brad) and Renee Jackson; aunts, Sarah Caknipe and Nancy Rice (Bob); uncle, Gary Bowen; nieces, Courtney Caknipe and Jasmine Nichole Kittrell; nephew, George Theodore Kittrell III and beloved friend, Richard Green. Friends and family are encouraged to visit Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home on Friday, June 5 between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. to pay respects. A family graveside service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Bowen Family Cemetery. The Reverends Chet Bergeron and Jackie Wray will officiate.
