Brian Keith Puryear

Brian Keith Puryear of Nelson, VA passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the age of 22.Brian was born on April 23, 1995 in Halifax County to Pamela Grey Elliott of Nelson and Keith Allen Puryear of Roxboro, NC.He was a 2014 graduate of Bluestone Senior High School and worked for Little Creek Excavation and Construction. In addition to his parents, Brian is survived by a sister, Jenilea Gillespie of Chase City; a brother, Justin “Spec” Puryear of Nelson and maternal grandparents, W.G. Elliott of Nelson and Janet Elliott of White Plains, VA.He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Georgia Puryear Simmons and Howard Spencer Puryear. The family will received friends on Tuesday, July 18 at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home, 703 Virginia Ave., Clarksville, VAfrom 6 - 8 p.m.A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 19 at the Elliott Family Cemetery in Nelson, VA.
