Carol Ann Seals

Buffalo Junction, VA - Mrs. Carol Ann Seals (nee Fazio), widow of William Henry Seals, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the age of 73.She was born in New York City, NY on June 12, 1944 to the late Mary Elizabeth Fazio (nee Cesare) and Nicholas Cono Fazio. Carol was a graduate of Newark State Teachers College and received master’s degrees from George Washington University and Gallaudet University. She began her career in the education of the deaf before spending 20 years as a first grade teacher for Arlington County (VA) Public Schools.After retiring to Clarksville, she volunteered with the Lake Country SPCA, Relay for Life and Project Care For.Carol attended Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. Cherishing her memories are sons Matthew Seals (Katrina Fuller) of Atlanta, GA and Travis Seals (Amanda) of Charlottesville, VA; grandchildren Becket Seals, Mary Wren Seals and Evangeline Seals; sisters Dorothy Kramer of Woodland Hills, CA and Margaret Palko of Eidson, TN and brother Thomas Fazio of Akron, OH. In addition to her husband and parents, Carol was preceded in death by brother Nicholas Fazio. A Catholic Mass will be said at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church.Rev. Fr.
