Carolyn Louise Clay Martin

SCOTTSBURG - Mrs. Carolyn Louise Clay Martin of Scottsburg passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at the age of 65. She was born in Halifax Co. on February 19, 1953 the daughter of the late Robert Bricie Clay and the late Virginia King Clay and was married to Wayne Riley Martin. Carolyn is survived by her husband; a son, Michael Wayne Martin and wife, Joyce of Scottsburg; grandsons, Justin Conner and Jeremiah Wilmouth; sisters, Ruby Martin, Peggy Wilmouth, and Linda Martin; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Truman Clay, and sister, Abigail Clay. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Clover Cemetery with Reverend Jane Lyon officiating. The family will receive friends at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home on Saturday, July 28 from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM and at other times at the home, 1091 Monroe Trail, Scottsburg.
