Carolyn Robertson Rickmond

HALIFAX, VA Ms. Carolyn Robertson Rickmond of Halifax passed away on Friday, July 10, 2020 at the age of 55.Born in Halifax County on April 15, 1965, she was the daughter of the late James Lou Robertson and the late Lada Whitlow Tussey. Carolyn loved swimming at the lake and beach, stargazing and singing.Her family was very important to her, she loved all of them and her granddaughter, Layla, was the apple of her eye. Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Dena Rickmond, Brittany Richart and sons; son, Ronald Rickmond, Jr and daughter-in-law, Rageena; granddaughter, Layla Jones; sisters, Angela Lacks, Tina Tussey, Melanie Rice and Nora Robertson and children; brother, Larry Lloyd and wife, Christy; aunts, Kitty Holt and Catherine Whitlow; meme, Lana Whirley; granny, Mary Miller; friends, Juanita Clay, Earlene Roark, Michalene Holloway, Jessica Hodge and Candice Slayton and her special pet, Bella. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Brooks Lyon Betty B. Jones Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, 1:00-2:00 PM.
