Carrie Deann Bartee

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carrie Deann Bartee, a beloved mother, daughter, and friend. Carrie passed away on Monday, January 13th, 2025, at the age of 33. Carrie was born on Tuesday, April 23rd, 1991, and from a young age, she demonstrated a sincere love for both people and animals. Her gentle spirit and compassionate heart were evident in her daily interactions with everyone around her and she had a special passion for her children and parents. Her love for life was seen in her many interests and activities. Carrie found joy in the sun, soaking up the warmth while tanning, and she especially cherished her moments by the lake, where she felt a deep connection to the water. Her vibrant personality and kindness were appreciated by all who knew her.

Carrie is survived by her children, Jase Bartee, Aaliyha Osteen, and Harmony Osteen; her parents, Caroline Reeves (Ken) and Donald Bartee Jr.; siblings, Steven Bartee (Virginia), Casey Bartee (Ryan), Jessie Reeves (Brandy), J.T. Reeves (Katrina), and Jacob Reeves (Elizabeth); her grandparents, Barbara Willis (Danny), Donald Bartee Sr. (Penny), and Elizabeth Reeves (Kenneth); many nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Douglas and Evelyn Ray, and Nathan Paul.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 19 at 4:00 PM at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home. The family will receive family and friends prior to the service, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and at other times at her mothers home, 3136 Mt. Carmel Road, Alton, VA 24520.

Carrie will be deeply missed but forever remembered by her children, family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to have known her. May she rest in peace, embraced by the love she gave so freely in life.
