Catherine Pugh Scott

Catherine Louise Pugh Scott, 82, widow of Robert Lark Scott, Jr. passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014 at MeadowView Terrace. Catherine was born May 2, 1932 to the late George and Eloise Adcock Pugh. She was the former manager of the P.H. Rose Store before becoming an Inspector with Burlington Industries. She was a member of Clarksville Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Sunday in the chapel at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home with the Reverend Dr. Greg Randall officiating. Interment will follow at Bluestone Cemetery. Mrs. Scott is survived by her son, Douglas Kenneth Scott of Buffalo Junction, granddaughters, Kelly Harrison and Samantha Scott and six great grandchildren. Her sisters, Madeline Bush of Lynchburg and Jean Crownover of Little Rock, AK and brothers, Thomas Pugh of Chase City and Michael Pugh of Kannapolis also survive. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-8:30 p.m. on Saturday.
