Catherine Louise Tharpe

Halifax, Va - Catherine Louise Tharpe of Halifax, VA died Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at the age of 70. She was born in Charlotte Co., VA on May 21, 1946 to the late John Emmitt Tharpe and the late Mittie Council Tharpe. A member of Public Fork Christian Church, she loved to ride in cars and watch cartoons with family. Catherine is survived by three sisters, Josephine Lloyd of Halifax, Pauline Brady of South Boston, and Lottie Belle Scarce of Danville; one brother, Royal Tharpe; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by six brothers.
