Cecile L. Nichols

Cecile L. Nichols of Richmond, VA, formerly of Clover, VA, passed away at her home at Lakewood Manor on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. Born in Clover, VA, she was the daughter of the late V. Creighton and Ellie Nichols.

Cecile retired from Morgan Lumber Company where she was office manager. Ms. Nichols was a long-time member of Clover Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir and the Woman's Missionary Union.

She is survived by one sister, Jean Irby of Norfolk, VA and 11 nieces and nephews who affectionately referred to her as "Aunt CC". She was preceded in death by three sisters, Vivian Bryant, Claude Toombs and Jewell Pollard and three brothers, Walter Nichols, Garner "Punk" Nichols and Elmer Nichols.

The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until 1:00 PM at Clover Baptist Church, 104 East Church Street, Clover, VA on Tuesday, November 1, 2022. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Clover Cemetery.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Clover Baptist Church or Clover Cemetery.
