Charles Glenn Crute

Bullock, NC Charles Glenn Crute, husband of Tammy Jackson Crute, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, just a day shy of his 59th birthday. He was born in Granville County, the son of Eleanor Pittard Crute and C.P. Crute, Jr. Charles worked for Homestead Nursery and enjoyed farming. He could often be seen driving a John Deere tractor with his children or grandchild along for the ride. He will be remembered for his fabulous sense of humor. Charles was a member of Amis Chapel Baptist Church. In addition to his parents and his wife of 40 years, Charles is survived by a son, Charles M. Crute (Leigh) of Franklinton, NC; daughters, Carly Crute of Bullock, NC, Courtney Crute Pulliam (Dusty) of Stovall, NC, Cayla Crute (Austin) of Bullock, NC, and a grandchild, Paisley Cole. A graveside funeral service will be held at 3 P.M. on Saturday, February 20, 2021, at Amis Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Cameron Currin officiating.
