Charles Franklin Davis, Jr.

Mr. Charles Franklin Davis, Jr. 82, husband of Peggy Booth Davis, died Saturday October 25, 2008 at MeadowView Terrace in Clarksville. The son of Charles Franklin, Sr. and Eugie Anna Reamy Davis, he was a World War II Navy veteran; member of Buffalo Baptist Tabernacle and retired automobile body shop operator. Graveside services will be 2PM Monday at Gravel Hill Cemetery with the Reverend Dr. William Weeks officiating. In addition to his wife of 53 years, Charles is also survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Michael Fulcher; grandchildren, Payne, Lauren, and Kristen Fulcher, all of Wake Forest, NC; brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Diane Davis of Buffalo Junction; and sisters, Mamie Womack of Meherrin and Violet Smith of Sanford, NC. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7-8:30 PM at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home.
